The situation of corruption in government has reached a flashpoint. It has brought us to the brink of destruction. If you are like me, you feel helpless and hopeless, as to how government can be cleaned up, once and for all. I have an idea.
We elect our Senators and Congressmen, individually, on the basis of individual performance, right? Well, let's change that. Let's vote to re-elect, or not, the entire body of the Senate and the entire body of Congress, based upon performance. That would create the incentive of members of the Senate and Congress to monitor one another, knowing their jobs depend, not only upon individual performance, but upon the performance of the body as a whole.
Allow me, if you will, one aside. Take away the unfair priviledge of the Senate and Congress to vote for pay raises for themselves.
